Singing a story - 12th of October 2021
Latvia will be hosts of this first event day. It will be held online and be divided into two parts. The first one is for professionals who want to discuss methods for performance, pedagogy, experience, creativity etc.
The second one is open to anyone who is passionate about storytelling and will be more structured as a workshop. You will meet tradition carriers and performers that will share knowledge and also teach examples of songs, stories and techniques.

Storytellers and folksingers from Estonia and Latvia will be visiting and participants will be able to learn about songs and stories from all three countries. We will take the opportunity to share our bet experiences of storytelling activities that include the communities and creates belonging and identity in secluded places.

Storytellers and folksingers from Estonia and Sweden will be visiting and participants will be able to learn about songs and stories from all three countries. We will take the opportunity to talk, sing, share and perform at the local storytelling festival - The Fish Soup Festival.

The activities will be merged into Viljandi Folk Music Festival as a festival in the festival where we provide a space - a golden room - for sharing stories, songs, games and launch the KULDRUM network platform.
